We all new Benson as a great kid, He lived with the Pulvers from 5th grade through 12th grade, Benson and his brother were killed in a trajic automobile accident in New Mexico, He was always a great friend and I still think of him all these years later.

I had just lost a child the very same time and could not make it to his funeral, I really wanted to be there and wished that I could have been
Benson died 1985. He was killed while living on the reservation. There were four of them (Benson, his brother,and two other friends) they were driving in a camaro when they were hit by a drunk driver who was driving a truck. The truck drove up on top of the the camaro (like a ramp) smashing it. Benson and his bother were in the back seat and were killed instantly due to severed spinal cord in their necks! The driver of the car was also killed but the front passenger was able to get out and did survive. The drunk driver drove away but was later arrested! Not sure what happened after that. His funeral was very well attended! Benson was every ones friend! I don't think there was a person who didn't like him! Before he died he had started playing basketball again. He was a awesome basketball player! We miss him, he was my brother!
